Do you want us to publish your email: Yes

Country of Residence: Dubai, UAE

Profession: HR/ Administrative

Do you want to settle permanently in abroad and Why: with pure luck,
yes but not here in UAE

Is Working or Living in Foreign Country Beneficial to you and Why: yes
and no. money wise, it's more than what our country can generally give
even for a supervisory level however, amidst the money & spending, home
will always be home so that it's a great sacrifice for an OFW to
permanently/ temporarily leave the place you call "home".

Do you think our countrys economy is getting better because of OFWs and
Why:
nope. nothing will change back home until such "politiking" will
stop. These so called "government" who suppose to help the Filipinos
uplift the Filipinos are the very persons who are dragging us down.

What could be the undesirable effects when working abroad to you and to
your family left back home:
to a married person, the chance of marital
affairs are at greater risk esp. living away from loved ones is the
hardest part of it unless one keeps in mind the very reason why s/he left
in the first place- to earn & provide a better future for the family.
Children of OFW lacks physical/ emotional bonding hence they tend to shy
away from their own parents.

Are You Worried About the Brain Drain that our country is facing at
this time and Why:
not at all bcuz the people in the government can do
something about it, if only they set aside their self-interests & not
associate every situation into politics. This may be why, we Filipinos
resort to OFW life if by this means we can get a better life and as an
ordinary citizen, this is the least we can do.

Can You give some tips or advise to others who may wish to work abroad
too Specially on places that you have worked for:
keep in mind the very
reason why you are leaving home esp to those married people. life
abroad is survival of the fittest so be strong & know ur rights, respect ur
new place. Above all, work hard & save/ invest so that u have something
to fall back on when the contract is over. Be guided by your faith in
God & yourself.

If you will be given a post to serve OFWs what could be your plans to
protect or serve the Filipino Workers Worldwide:
counselling.. let them
know the hard truth & never give them false hopes.Nothing is better
than being equip with strong mind & emotional faculties before embarking
in a foreign land. life abroad is good to those who can play along and
values his/her hardwork.

What is best about being a Filipino: high spirited!! nothing beats
pinoys' drive even faced with the worst of the worsts!!

Any Message for Us: Mabuhay po tayong lahat!! Be an OFW but always keep
ur feet planted in the ground.
