Do you want to settle permanently in abroad and Why: I have been away for 22 years now and I could say that in the last 2 years, I am falling in more in love in our native country. I have been going back and forth and plan to be in the Philippines 50% of a time.

Is Working or Living in Foreign Country Beneficial to you and Why: It has been very beneficial in the past and I realized how very fortunate and fortunate I am to have this opportunity. My mission now is to share what I have learned to many more others.

Do you think our countrys economy is getting better because of OFWs and Why: Absolutely! Philippine economy has improved dramatically because of OFWs? I'm not sure of the exact statistics, but OFWs brought millions of dollars back home.

What could be the undesirable effects when working abroad to you and to your family left back home: It is sad, but there are more and more broken families of OFWs. Children are growing up without mother or father figures that could cause them to be astray because of lack of parential guidance and physical and emotional contacts. Husbands and wives are separated for indifinite period of time which will lead to outgrowing each other.

Are You Worried About the Brain Drain that our country is facing at this time and Why: I like to think positive about this issue and love to hear more transformational words to describe our country. As Mahatma Gandhi said "we have to be the change we need to see in the world" If we
all pull together and create awareness on how to uplift ourselves and be of service to others when we can, support the positive change happenings in our country - if we joined hands together we can make a positive
difference in our own country and the world as a whole, when we collectively help each other, that is, instead of saying, and using negative words.. moving forward for a better world.

Can You give some tips or advise to others who may wish to work abroad too Specially on places that you have worked for: First, when you are feeling homesick realized that your being away from home is only temporary. Think of the real reasons why you are sacrificing being away from your family. Visualize your goals and your objective why you are in a foreign land. Second: Socialize and volunteer your time to
great causes, meet and mingle with new people. Be around positive and successful people. Learn new skills. And remember "we become what we think about" all day long. Lastly, embrace the new culture but always
remember what is it that make us distinctly Pinoys - we are kind, compassionate, we have deep faith, courage and resilient. We are truly good-natured, spiritual and fun-loving people - our traits that is recognized all over the world.

If you will be given a post to serve OFWs what could be your plans to protect or serve the Filipino Workers Worldwide: Again, I would ask them to form a small community that meets regularly. This will help everyone share and vent out challenges and frustrations. Identify their vision and goals why they left our country, this way they will learn to ground themselves when the going gets tough and face with challenges. Encourage them to develope and learn new skills and seek sucessful people they can mentor from. Show them to make sure to "pay themselves" first - so when their contract is over they have something to look forward to... savings towards a "new business venture"?

What is best about being a Filipino: We are distinctly Filipino, as mentioned above, we are hard-working, we are kind-heared, we are good-natured, we are compassionate, we are resilient, we have faith, we are spiritual, for are forgiving, we are fun-loving, we are lovable, we are not any lesser than the rest of the world, we are intelligent, we are brilliant, we are children of God. We are very special.

Any Message for Us: Continue your excellent service to OFW's. Hat's off to you for developing this site. I am not a techie and I don't often search the web. Congratulations, You are making a positive difference in the lives of our kababayans. We really need to showcase our "champions"
