Recognized in 1995, our very own Carabao Mango was awarded as the sweetest fruit in the world. We are a major export of this fruit which is popular not only for Filipino but to foreigners as well. (This fruit is my favorite, hilaw man or hinog - Vanie)

Guinness World Book of Records - Philippines Has the World's Largest Shoes
World record for Marikina City shoe maker for crafting the 2002 largest shoes in the world. Each of the shoe is measuring 5.5 meters long, 2.25 meters wide and 1.83 meters high.

Also in 2002, San Fernando City in Pampanga was awarded as the origin of largest Christmas lantern in the world which was lighted in December that year. It has a measurement of 26.8 meters in diameter. (and we have the world's longest Christmas season too)

The world's smallest volcano is the Taal Lake in Tagaytay City with the diameter of 406m high crater. It is also called as "a crater within an island within a lake" because it stands on the island and at the Taal Lake.
