BUSINESS SYSTEM

Paano ba talag? This is a question that I had never eluded every time I teach entrepreneurship. I am also amazed that most who are already in the business still
doesn’t also know how to run their businesses. Some are 5 to 10 years doing the same monotonous thing everyday but without growth.

Maybe just to summarize what I have been sharing for the past months in my articles, ganito po yun… the first step is if you will start a business, dapat may market. This is applicable to those who must earn immediately. Now if you have capital to invest , ok
lang that you go thru the process of educating the market for thenm to realize that they need your market then they become patrons. Eto po yung mga productong “pampa”…Pampa puti, pampa tangkad, pampaganda, pampa kinis… Ika nga po, Medyo matagal bago kumita dito at madaming pera ang kailangan bago bilhin ng bayan ang producto mo.

But for those that needs to earn ASAP. Dapat, may bibili agad ng product o services mo. And lets face it, most of us are in this category. Yan ang kailangan ng pinoy! Kumita agad.

Ok, I already have discussed this at my previous articles. What we have to discuss now is from that business, PAANO BA TALAGA PALALAKIHIN ANG NEGOSYO KO?

The word is “INCUBATE”. Businesses fail because business owners fail to build a system to sustain it. Sabi nung iba, it would take 5 years and up to prove that a business is good at tatagal. Teka ano ba yung system? Its infront of your nose. Eto po yung DO’s and
DONT’S ng negosyo. Teka hindi ako nakapag aral ng BUSINESS MANAGEMENT kaya hindi ko alam yan!

Ganito lang po kadali yan. Do you gargle every day with Listerine? Have you tried gargling at your throat looking up? What happened? Try it now. … Sige antayin kita… Tapos na?... Sakit sa mata noh… Question?! Will you do it again? Tatalsik sa mata mo at masakit! And if that happens, YOU WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

Failure is the best teacher, success is the worst teacher!

In business, ganun din! Experience the business and LOG all its Dos & DONTs. That’s how we learn! If your selling lumpiang sariwa at para makatipid, ginamitan mo ng ibang sahog para maka tipid, as a result, nawalan ka ng customer… WILL YOU DO THAT AGAIN? … what
will you do? LOG it! I will never use ibang sangkap again with my product.

Meron kang massage service, at young masahista mo may putok… Inaway ka ng cliente at ipinag kalat na wag sila pumunta sa Spa mo… what will you do? LOG it! I will never hire masseurs that has body odor… OR, You will require your masseurs to be clean and good
smelling before they service! LOG IT, LOG IT, AND LOG IT!

Note all the experiences you had bad or good… then make a step by step account of the whole process. How again? Simple, visualize the process from beginning to after. Always start with why this business, who and how to market the business. YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON TO MAKE A MANUAL FOR YOUR BUSINESS! Because it needs a hands on experience at ikaw ang nakaka alam ng process nyan. From beginning to end. You may check other
manuals to guide you in making your manual. Check out a cd / dvd/ car manual… check out how detailed they are. Ganun din dapat ang systema ng negosyo mo. There should always be a how to and options even in small details.

Answer questions like, pag nag absent ang tao mo,paano kung walang materials na ganito, pag nag brown out, kung ma delay sa oras, dapat may options of solutions. ..

Teka , bakit ba kailangan gawan ng system ang negosyo? This is a prerequisite to growth! If you want to grow then do this, now… if you’re happy with your earnings and being an employee of your business, working and being a slave of your own business daily… then don’t build a system.

Pero hindi bay un ang gusto natin kaya tayo nag negosyo? This is my dream for CAR MAGIC and my other businesses.

So, allow me to go on… “INCUBATE” your business. Trial and error, build the system… and you can not do it in 1 year. Paano mo ma experience ang lahat ng dapat mong danasin sa isang taon? Incubation takes 5 years and more. That’s the reason why they say, pag
lumagpas ka na ng 5 years, ok na business mo…

Pag may systema na at binibili na ng tao… aba, eh ready na to go out yan! Eh kung yung boy friend mo, hindi malunok ang sandwich na gawa mo, don’t expect the malls to swallow it. IT STILL NEEDS INCUBATION!

Don’t go for franchising na hilaw at wag ka mag pa franchise na hilaw pa ang products or services mo.

The reason why people franchise a business is because they do not want to go thru the system making and trial and error thing… they just need a pattern to follow that would keep them from making mistakes. And that’s what we need to do ! keep our franchisees away
from mistakes. Actually, even if we do not franchise. We need it if we start another branch or stall. Our branch needs to follow exactly as we have done.

A friend of mine who owns a big tile center in the Philippines told me that he has not even seen some of his branches in manila. But he earns from it. How? SYSTEM. Dapat po, pag meron na tayo branch, network, extension, franchise… kahit wala tayo doon, tatakbo
yung negosyo na parang andun tayo. Ganun po yun. Remember me said before that , you will know that your business is growing if you stop working and start
training.

So, if you have plans of growing your businesses… build a system.
