MICRO MARKETING

MICRO MARKETING

“AN ENTREPRENEUR DOESN’T HAVE VAST RESOURCES. AS SUCH,VERY FOCUSED AND SHARPLY AIMED ADS THAT DIRECTLYCOMMUNICATE TO THE PRIMARY TARGET MARKET GREATLY HELPEFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT RESOURCE UTILIZATION. THIS IS THE ENTREPRENEURIAL WAY.”

MR. ANDY FERRERIA
ENTREP GURU

Wala bang tagalong nito? Parang mahirap intindihin to ah… dapat mag enroll muna ako sa hers hersch school of perfect englishization para maintindihan ito.

Not really! I believe every businessman trulyunderstand what this means. The only reason why this is not being done is because we tend to become impatient when it comes to results.

Micro Marketing as explained by the guru is resource utilization. Lahat naman tayo for sure ay may ad materials like leaflets, tarps, calling cards etc. Now, we are just concerned with the marketing materials that you spread. Bakit? Kasi po, pera yan.
You spent money to produce those ad materials and wouldn’t it be so bad if it just doesn’t serve its purpose?

Id rather give out 10 leaflets to sure clients than a thousand to people I am not even sure if they are qualified patrons.

Micro Marketing is selecting a target market and saturating it. Slowly… Carefully… but effectively. Do not be in a rush to let the Philippines know about your services. This had been my problem before. Every time I would come with a new business idea, I would
immediately tell friends about it. Tendency… kokopyahin instead na maging clients.

In my article about isolating your market, I did mention that you have to identify your market first. What I mean is, you have to answer the question… who needs my services or product? Kasi po, kahit anong gawin natin, kung walang pera ang taong ito, kahit
pigain mo sya at gaano nya kailangan ng product mo, eh hindi sya kukuha nang binebenta mo. Bakit? Awan ti kwarta!

So, you have to identify, sino ba talaga ang kayang bilhin ang produkto mo! Now if you cannot do that…kahit po siguro si Donald Trump eh mahirapan kang I-mentor.

So, I believe that the first step in micro marketing is IDENTIFYING your market. Locating where they are.Answer the question… is this person or group of people
capable of patronizing my business?

Now that you have identified your market, SATURATING naman.Example you have chosen and located a village nearby your business area. The village seems to be qualified for your new service business. Make a marketing plan to inform EACH and EVERYONE ! from the village about your business!

I really do have lots of idea how to do that, but ANY MEANS OF MARKETNG gawin mo(basta hind illegal ha) . Talk to the administration, news letters, if they would allow streamers, do it. Use the directory and do tele marketing, makipag barkada ka sa mga taga doon, dumalo ka ng mga activities etc.

Wait a momo… matgal gawin yan,,, that’s the point of saturation! Mag kula ka nga ng isang minuto, tignan mo kung puputi labada mo! Soak and saturate it…. Mare,Pare… I am sure pag matagal mo binabad… PUPUTI YAN.In English…. Tide is miracol.

Yes, its true, you will not have time to market otherareas BUT… Your efforts will pay off till your name becomes a house hold name in that area. Even if you wont reach other villages, because of what you have done, you will have enough clients from this village.
SATURATED IKA NGA! Concentrating your efforts in one area reaching each and every house hold. Pati aso nila alam yung services mo!

CAR MAGIC did this and I practically lived inside a big class A village in muntinlupa. I did leafleting!Bawal ang posters, tarps etc. You wanna know what strategy ive did? Yung aking van na may advertisement ng CAR MAGIC na naka pintura sa gilid ay akin pong binunot ang distribution cap at tinanggalan ng carbon. At pina tirik ko on a Saturday evening sa gate ng village nila. Sa maka tuwid, it has to be parked at the side walk of their gate. I told the guard that I am from marikina and i will be back to tow my van the
next day by noon. Eh di pumayag. I gave him all the reasons why I cannot move the vehicle that night and why I can only pick it up by noon time.

Meaning… my ADS stayed at their gate on a Sunday morning till Sunday noon. Just guess how many calls I got that morning. Saturation! Soaking a target market, not leaving a single soul not knowing about your business.

If this happens MICRO MARKETING brings out the result of DOMINATION. Sorry, but your competitor has to leave. The idea of my ad brochure was born out of Micro marketing. I have an updated database of class A villages in Metro Manila and I mail them every month.
Imagine… my ads reaching kuya and ates coffee table. For sure dodong and inday will not throw it away because it is delivered by mail thru the postal office and has the home owners address. Yun ang MICRO MARKETING!

Again, happy entrepreneuring and I hope this helps your business flourish!
